The Playoffs are here and we have two awesome games to get us started on Tuesday night! Here are the players I'll be targeting:
Atlanta Hawks vs Orlando Magic
🔺 Paolo Banchero Over 29.5 Points
Banchero has been flirting with superstardom all season and is now positioned to have his signature moment. He’s averaged 28.2 PPG over his last 10, hitting the 30-point mark in six of those games, including two of his last three. This is a dream matchup for Orlando’s go-to guy, as the Hawks rank 2nd in pace and 18th in defensive rating. Expect plenty of possessions and scoring opportunities.
🔻 Wendell Carter Jr. Under 0.5 3-Pointers Made
Carter has taken over the starting center spot but is still in a timeshare with Goga Bitadze. He’s shooting just 25% from deep and only averaging 2.3 attempts per game. Against a smaller Hawks team that he should be able to bully inside, don’t expect much activity behind the arc. Carter is just 1-for-7 from deep across four games against Atlanta this season.
🔻 Zaccharie Risacher Under 12.5 Points
This is a tough spot for the No. 1 pick. He faces the slowest-paced team in the league and one of the most disciplined defenses in the Orlando Magic. Oh, and his primary defensive matchup? Paolo Banchero. Risacher has averaged just 9 PPG in four games against the Magic this year and is unlikely to find his rhythm on the road under playoff-like pressure.
Memphis Grizzlies vs Golden State Warriors
🔺 Ja Morant Over 22.5 Points
Say what you want about Ja, but the man gets buckets. He’s averaging 30 PPG over his last 10 games on 21 FGA per game, including a 36-point outing against these same Warriors. He plays with an all-gas-no-brakes mentality, and with the game likely to be high-paced and competitive, Morant should again shoulder the scoring load.
🔺 Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 26.5 PRA (Points + Rebounds + Assists)
JJJ always seems to show up against the Warriors. He’s averaged 24-7-2 in four matchups this season and consistently benefits from mismatches down low due to Golden State’s small-ball rotations. With Draymond often helping on Morant, Jackson gets plenty of touches and usage, making this a strong play.
🔺 Stephen Curry Over 24.5 Points
Steph has historically shredded Ja Morant-led defenses, averaging 36 PPG in seven head-to-head matchups, including multiple 40+ and a 50-point explosion. The Grizzlies play fast and give up the fifth-most transition points per game — the exact kind of chaos Curry thrives in. Fire him up in this pace-up smash spot.
