The more this turns into a real football game, the more likely Purdy has to move outside the pocket, buy time, and take what is there. Those are the exact moments that can get him over a rushing number in the teens. He does not need a big workload. He just needs the right kind of night.

Finally, this is not a play built on a huge ceiling. It is built on a reasonable path that still feels underpriced. The line is 17.5, the matchup leans toward added movement, and the injury situation around San Francisco only helps push Purdy in that direction.
